Description

The M1025 is the armored armament carrier.

The vehicle is equipped with basic armor protection for crew, weapon components, and ammunition.

It can ford hard bottom water crossings up to 30 inches (76 centimeters) without a deep water fording kit. The mods USMC versions feature snorkels for the air intake and engine exhaust to allow limited deep fording capability for river crossing or amphibious landing operations; up to 60 inches (152 centimeters).

Thee M1025 armament carrier provides for mounting and firing of the Mk 19 Mod 3 automatic grenade launcher, M2 .50 caliber machine gun, and M60 and M240 7.62mm machine guns.
