Description

The Boeing CH-47F Chinook is an American twin-engine, tandem rotor heavy transport helicopter. It's primary mission is troop and cargo movement ( mainly artillery placement and battlefield resupply ).

The aircraft uses a 4,868-shaft-horsepower Honeywell engines, allowing it to fly at speeds of over 175 mph (282 km/h) with a payload of more than 21,000 lb.

It features a cargo loading ramp at the rear of the fuselage and three external hooks for sling-loaded cargos up to 28,000 lb (12,700 kg).

The CH-47F can operate at high altitudes and temperatures that limit the use of other helicopters such as UH-60M.

Two M134 Minigun machine guns conform the armament of the mod's version of the helicopter.
