The Kamov Ka-52 "Alligator" (NATO designation: Hokum B) is a Russian two-seat coaxial rotor reconnaissance variant of the single-seat Soviet Kamov Ka-50 "Black Shark" attack helicopter.

It includes a radar suite for reconnaissance task.

It uses a side-by-side seating design as it improves co-operation between the two crew members.

The Alligator entered in service in the Russian Air Force in 2011, after succeeding in different tests.

A navalised variant (Ka-52K) was selected by the Russian Naval Aviation to be used in the future Russian amphibious assault ships. The first four entered in service in 2015.
