Description

The BMD-2 is an improved version of the BMD-1. It's main change is the new turret with a 30mm 2A42 multi-prupose autocannon in addition to a modernized hull.

It can be transported inside a An-12, An-22, Il-76, An-124 airplanes and by the Mi-6 and Mi-26 helicopters.

The vehicle's safe landing is assured by a rocket parachute, the PRSM-915.
